Mark Twain's Return From Farmer's Market-SOLD

Hello friends and family! I'm back! I miss you all, I've been drawing and illustrating a lot lately. Living in sunny southern California has been making it tough for me to stay indoors to create still life paintings. Here's a piece I really enjoyed creating! I painted this one in the evening which was nice because I could really control the lighting. Let me know what you all think. Would love to hear from you. Cheers, BG

Hey Bernie,
I've missed seeing your work--so glad to hear that you have traded smoke filled skies for sunshine. Now that you are back, you'll have to respond to Carol Marine's tag!
Love the colors in this one--am curious to hear the connection to Mark Twain and the Farmer's Market.
all the best,
Faye

Bernie!

I just love this one! The colors are so rich and glowing! I would not have thought this would be a great idea with the red on the red, but it works...REALLY works for me! Get on that tag, too. I agree with Faye...you can for sure come up with 5 interesting things...can't wait to hear them!

Wish I could remember how I got here, I`ll have to work the back button for a while, but the trip was worth it. Very interesting color control. Nice work.

Wonderful piece Bernie. I discovered your blog through Silvina Day's blog (she's got good taste!)

I would love to leave you a beautiful and eloquent comment (like these others) about the artistic design and elements utlized within this piece, but alas, I would be making it all up. I know nothing of "cropping" and other such topics, but this is by far my favorie of your work that I have been able to see. It is so vibrant!

After this summer, I remembered that you were an artist, so I looked you up online hope that you would have a site. It has been a pleasure viewing your artowrk via internet!

Did you ever join the aquatics so that you could continue swimming?
